This program aims to bridge the gap between senior Americans and technology by providing opportunities to explore the emerging media of the Internet. Participants are exposed to the basics of word processing on a PC, web navigation and emailing. This program was made possible by a grant from the Department of Aging. The winter cycle has been completed and the spring cycle runs for 8 weeks from April 1st to May 23rd. Participants from both sessions who have shown particular aptitude will be trained to teach their peers at senior centers in and around New York City.
