Ladies, Gentlemen and Young People:

Thank you for being so patient concerning the start of the Alice Kornegay Computer Learning Center Program. We welcome your participation in the registration.

We are pleased to inform you that the construction that we have been waiting for has been completed. The AKCLC COMPUTER LAB is now located on the 2nd floor of the West wing of the 1775 Houses, and the AKCLC WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT OFFICE is on the 3rd floor.

As of August 13th, the new program will feature an introduction to computers including "special open access hours" which will give you the opportunity to familiarize yourselves with using the computers, the Internet and an opportunity to meet the instructors.

The full program (Youth, Teens, Adults, and Seniors) will start in September.

ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE PHOTO ID FOR THE AKCLC COMPUTER PROGRAM. STARTING AUGUST 13TH PLEASE COME TO THEAKCLC WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT OFFICE ROOM 3N @1775 HOUSESTO RESISTER FOR YOUR PHOTO ID.NO ONE WILL BE ADMITTED TO CLASSES WITHOUT PHOTO ID.

Please note on the following dates an adult assessment program will be held for those who are interested in upgrading their job skills and for those seeking a job.

Thursday, July 31st, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, August 2nd, Noon to 2 p.m.
Thursday, August 7th, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, August 9th, Noon to 2 p.m.

These sessions will take place in the Community Room at 1775 Houses.
